We find the person who signs the cheque.

If you sell to schools, you already know the problem: the switchboard won't put you through, and office@ goes nowhere. We go through every school's own website and come back with the name of the Business Manager, Facilities Manager or Operations Manager — their job title, and their email address where the school publishes one.

Illustrative layout — school names and contact details are stand-ins, because publishing real people's details on an open web page isn't something we'd do to our own data. Ask for a free 25-school sample in your area and you'll get the genuine rows.

What you get

A spreadsheet you can work from on Monday morning.

One workbook, five tabs, no setup. It opens in Excel or imports straight into Google Sheets.

Tab 1

Contacts

One row per school: name, job title, role type, phone, email, and the page we found them on so you can check any row yourself.

Tab 2

All contacts

Every person found. Some schools publish both a Business Manager and a Facilities Manager — both are here.

Tab 3

Needs a phone call

Schools that name nobody publicly, with their direct number ready. Ask for the Business Manager by role and whoever answers will know who that is.

Tab 4

Not checked

The handful whose websites blocked automated visitors or didn't respond. We list them rather than quietly dropping them, so your count always reconciles.

Tab 5

Run log

Dated counts for the whole job. Coverage, verified versus inferred, role breakdown. Nothing hidden behind a summary.

The bit most suppliers won't tell you

48% of schools name the person. We'll say so before you pay.

We checked all 3,272 UK secondary schools with a working website. Just under half publish the name of a Business, Facilities or Operations Manager somewhere on their site. The rest list only teaching staff, or route everything through a general enquiries address and a contact form.

That number is counted, not estimated. It is the coverage you should expect from anyone doing this honestly.

So a national list is 1,584 named people, not 3,272. Of those, 714 come with an email address published on the school's own site. The rest come with a direct phone number and a name to ask for — which, if your team sells by phone, is the more useful field anyway.

Every address is labelled. Verified means it is published on the school's website. Inferred means we worked it out from that school's own address format — a good guess, flagged as a guess, and worth running through a verification service before a bulk send. Phone only means we found the person but the school publishes no address. You will never receive a guess dressed up as a fact.

How the work is done

We read the schools' own websites. That's the whole trick.

First

Start from the public register

The Department for Education publishes every school in the country with its website address. That is the input — a complete list, not a bought one, so nothing is missing before we start.

Then

Work through each site

Staff pages, contact pages, leadership pages, individual profiles. We respect each site's robots file and skip the ones that ask not to be visited — those get listed for you to check by hand.

Then

Pull out the named roles

Business, Finance, Facilities and Operations Managers, with the job title copied exactly as the school writes it. Where a school names none of those, we take one clearly-labelled fallback — an Office Manager or Head's PA — so the row is still worth something.

Last

Label every address and hand it over

Verified, inferred or absent, colour-coded, with the source page against each row. Then the counts get reconciled against the register so you can see nothing went missing.

What it costs

Priced per list, not per hour.

£450

All UK secondary schools. 1,584 named contacts, 714 with a verified email address.

Single region
30p / lead

One county or region. £250 minimum, so it's worth doing properly.

Kept current
£125 / quarter

School staff move. We re-check the sites every three months and send the differences.

The schools list is already built, so if that's what you need you'll have it the same day you order. A sector we haven't covered yet takes about two working days — most of that is reading the websites properly rather than making you wait.

First order is half up front, half on delivery, by bank transfer. Before any of that, ask for 25 schools in your area, free — check them against the schools' own websites and decide for yourself.

Other sectors on request. Care homes, GP surgeries, hotels and registered charities all have complete public registers behind them, which makes them straightforward to do properly. We'll measure the coverage on a small sample and tell you the honest number before you commit.

Get in touch

Tell us the sector and we'll send you a sample.

Say which region matters most and whether your team works by email or by phone — that changes which rows are useful to you, and we'll cut the sample to match.
