One workbook, five tabs, no setup required. It opens in Excel or imports directly into Google Sheets, built consistently regardless of which register you request.
Five tabs, arranged in the order you will use them.
Contacts
One row per organisation: name, job title, role type, phone, email, and the source page, allowing you to verify any entry independently.
All contacts
Every relevant contact identified. Where a site publishes more than one — a Business Manager and a Facilities Manager, for example — both are included.
Needs a phone call
Entries where no name is published, with a direct phone number provided. Requesting the relevant role by title is generally sufficient.
Not checked
The small number of organisations whose websites blocked automated access or did not respond. These are listed rather than omitted, so the total always reconciles.
Run log
Dated figures for the full run: coverage, verified versus inferred, and a breakdown by role. Nothing is hidden behind a summary.
We read each organisation's own website. That is the entire method.
Start from the public register
For schools, the Department for Education publishes every one in the country along with its website address — a complete, publicly available list, so nothing is missing before work begins. Other sectors have equivalent registers: the CQC for care homes, the Charity Commission for charities, and Companies House for hotels.
Work through each site
Staff pages, contact pages, leadership pages, and individual profiles. We respect each site's robots file and exclude those that request not to be visited; these are listed separately for manual review.
Identify the named roles
The job title is recorded exactly as published. Where none of the target roles are named, a clearly labelled fallback contact is used instead, so each entry retains value.
Label every address and deliver the workbook
Each address is labelled verified, inferred, or absent, with the source page recorded against every row. The totals are then reconciled against the register to confirm nothing has been missed.
