How to run the escape room puzzle

  3. Give the hints one at a time, nudge first, only when players have been stuck for a couple of minutes.
  4. When they have written the five-letter answer in the boxes, check it against page 6.

It is a single short puzzle, so it works as a warm-up at a party or a taster before you decide whether to run the full game, which has 12 puzzles and takes 45-60 minutes. Halloween is Saturday 31 October this year.
